Well, what an amazing event organised by Aiden Bex! We raised over £2300 for the Martin Fisher Foundation through raffles sales and charity buckets. We sold over £1000 in raffle tickets and the wonderful Glencairn Consulting Ltd matched that amount. Wow! It is incredible.
We can’t thank Aiden enough and his amazing talented contributors for their support. The event was held at the Amsterdam Bar & Kitchen on the hottest evening of the summer. The bar was packed and the evening was compèred brilliantly by Stella Pint, with performances of music, poetry, spoken word and comedy.
Dr Gill Dean, Trustee spoke about the charity and our aims of ZERO HIV transmission and ZERO stigma against people living with HIV. The money raised will go towards more Digital Vending Machines around Brighton and Hove, encouraging more testing for HIV so that people can receive effective treatment and live healthily.
Thanks again to the Amsterdam Bar & Kitchen, the amazing raffle prizes donated for the charity, the team of raffle sellers, Aiden for his continued support of our charity and the people of Brighton who gave so generously.
Thank you!
