We are delighted that the Brighton & Hove Bus and Coach Company will be naming one of their buses after Professor Martin Fisher, an outstanding leader in the field of HIV Medicine who built a world class service here in Brighton. Everyone is invited to join the Martin Fisher Foundation for the celebration of the Bus Launch on Saturday 5th October 2019 between 1 and 3pm by the Peace Statue, Kingsway, Hove, BN3 2WN .
Just look at the outside design for the bus!
The panels inside the bus are illustrated with information about Martin’s life, recent advances in HIV treatment and the Charity’s Campaigns around increasing HIV testing and decreasing HIV stigma. These panels have been co-designed by the Charity and the wonderful illustrator Daniel Locke.
We will be off-road by the Peace Statue at 1pm – please come and visit the bus and learn more about HIV and our Charity. The bus will then set off for a small tour of Brighton calling at Churchill Square. While on the bus you can read about the Charity and its aims as well as learn more about Towards ZERO transmission of HIV and some of the struggles that people living with HIV still face today.
Do you know what U=U means? Come and find out!
More details of the day will be updated over the next few weeks but please get the date into your diary now.
Please let us know if you wish to join the event and the bus tour at [email protected] by the 23rd September.
