Having qualified as an accountant, Steve worked principally within ‘blue chip American companies’ moving from Finance Director level roles through to General Management. Steve was Managing Director for one of Gillette’s divisions across Eastern Europe, Africa, Middle East and India.
From 2002 onwards, Steve worked as a consultant across multiple industry sectors focussed on either business turnarounds or start-ups. The sectors included, technology, satellite communications, textiles and easy access bathroom equipment.
Having joined The Martin Fisher Foundation in 2017, Steve is responsible to the Board for finance and contributes to funding bids, strategy and anything else that needs doing. Steve is also associated with two other local charities serving the LGBTQ community within Brighton and Hove. Steve took over as Chair of the Martin Fisher Foundation in May 2021.
